Handcrafted with care, the FETTO Nord 70+ is an all-analog, original design. Evolving from the original “FETTO 9.0” model since 2004, this pedal is made to amplify your amp’s natural sound while giving you versatile tone options. Every unit is built individually, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and dynamic performance with no replicas.
FETTO Nord 70+ is an extension of the original “FETTO 9.0” (2004) and also an extraction of FETTO Nord+ as the great Mikael Nord Andersson loved it and developed it with us in 2008-2009.
Note: If you want a great sounding but more simple/smaller version of FETTO Nord 70+ (=no external switches and no boost) check out FETTO Jr. 70!
Excellent string separation/definition all the way from smooth overdrive into heavy’ish 70’ish distortion. The character of your instrument and amplifier will not get lost—but gained! And this one is designed to match the volume control on your guitar perfectly. Most pedals on Earth sounds just like pedals. Not the case with FETTO Nord 70+, this swivel-hipped loudmouth, born and living in another dimension?—Ed & Mick & Lizzy here we go!
The FETTO Nord 70+ extends the legacy we started with the FETTO 9.0. Not a singular concept in design, it’s part of a series that includes other siblings, namely the FETTO Nord 70+ and the FETTO Jr. 70, both of them continuing further with the same philosophy of innovation and authenticity. Each model caters to different tastes, offering different setups and features.
Our discrete analog circuitry delivers a pure, organic sound experience. Using valve-like components, it captures the dynamics and warmth of your playing, responding naturally to your picking attack without any digital interference. This design preserves your amp’s true tone, offering everything from subtle boosts to rich, saturated overdrive (not metal) while maintaining the full harmonic depth of your setup.
The FETTO Nord 70+ possesses versatile tone controls in the form of two toggle switches: one to set 2 Gain ranges/different kind of compression characters and one with 3 Presence settings. Such design allows just the perfect sculpting of your sound for smooth, vintage warmth down to a sharper, more modern clarity. It will go well with a wide range of setups, always working for you whether on live performances, studio recordings, or practices.
That, however, is significantly enhanced by an independent Class A booster. Setting it before or after the overdrive (easy switchable inside the pedal) yields two different effects: saturation and sustain before the overdrive, and a clean volume lift afterward. Such adaptability offers dynamic control in that you will be able to adjust your tone according to the situation, whether a live solo or a studio track. The settings for boost pre or after is set with internal switches, up to you to decide.
Each single FETTO Nord 70+ is built by hand in Sweden, like the rest of our products. High quality and great durability are thus guaranteed through this craftsmanship. Great attention to detail secures that each individual unit will run dependably, whether touring or being deployed at the studio. The analog circuitry is designed for consistent, precise performances—a trusted tool delivering, session after session.
The FETTO Nord 70+ is for those who appreciate things like:
► Handmade accuracy and individual craftsmanship
► Analogue circuitry that does not hurt but instead enhances amplifier tone.
► Multifunctional tone controls to enable a great number of sound options
► Dynamic Discrete Class A boost—and also an all discrete Class A overdrive circuit!—for adaptable performance.
But for the true love of vintage-inspired overdrive, the FETTO Nord 70+ is more than just a pedal: it’s a flexible and dynamic tool crafted out of the finest quality, precision, and an unprecedented sound experience. With its hand-assembled build and flexible features, it becomes a reliable companion for any serious tone enthusiast. Note: If you need a smaller, simplified version of FETTO Nord 70+, don’t forget to check out the FETTO Jr. 70!
